I approach all of my work with a lot of joy, laughter, and ease. I am quick to smile and I highly encourage conversations and showing each other just how much and how you love. I truly love stories and I'd love to hear yours. Connecting with my clients I'm shooting is so very important to me. It's not just a one-time transaction. 1. Send me a note
I take on very few elopements every year, as they require additional time and care to ensure your day goes as smoothly (and as low-key!) as possible. My elopements are perfect for couples who know what they want to do and just need a little bit of additional guidance/reassurance throughout the way! They want someone to be their fly-on-the-wall best friend who can get along with everyone and guide the day accordingly.
After we chat to ensure we're a good fit for each other and determine the date, we will make it official with an invoice and contract! 50% of the invoice is due to book your date. Once that's squared away, I will send you a Google calendar invite as well.
2. Consult + Schedule it
I am there for every step of the way. We will nail down the schedule together, guide you through obtaining photography/park permits (as needed), determine what's important to you to have captured, talk about coordinating your first look, create shot lists, etc. I am as involved as you need me to be. In fact, I am always happy to get sneak peeks of you in your wedding dress of choice and hype. you. up.
* Changes to the location that require an update to the invoice (i.e. extra mileage, parking, photo permits, etc) will be reflected in the final due amount.
3. We Plan!
It's the big day! You have your dress, he has his suit, your hair/make-up is done, and you're excited! You are getting M-A-R-R-I-E-D! You know where you're going and I'm ready for you!
When you arrive, I'll come say hi. I'll have my timeline with me and we'll start making magic together. The rest is history and you'll be married!
4. we make magic!
I will geek over all the big and little moments while editing and share sneak peeks with you within a few short days.
Once I'm done editing (typically within 2-4 weeks), I upload and deliver your beautiful gallery into your email inbox! You'll sit down with your partner with whatever drink you fancy and look at your photos together. Don't forget to download all your memories immediately too! You can then purchase any additional wall art or digitals a la carte straight from your gallery. And if you'd like to chat heirloom albums, let me know!
5. Your Photographs
elopements START at $1,100 for 2 hours minimum coverage
+ $100 per additional hour
Elopements include 2 hours of coverage to start and your choice of location within 40 miles roundtrip from 20152.
* Pricing assumes sessions occur in Northern Virginia and the surrounding area, within 70 miles roundtrip from 20152. Travel fees apply for locations outside this radius.

When we started planning our wedding and keeping it simple, I thought I had my bases covered with a checklist to make the day go as planned. Little did I know in this planning stage that one of the most important people for our wedding day would be our photographer! You took all of my general sketched out plans and helped us make beautiful memories with each other and our families. I cannot tell you how amazing it has been to work with you and spend our special day with you! I think I can safely say you made our day extremely special and you captured it perfectly! I know that my recommendation to friends and family getting married in the future is 1. have Denise as your photographer if you're in the area, or if you're not lucky enough to be nearby, 2. find a photographer you trust and enjoy. Denise, you have such talent in building trust, hyping the couple up, and capturing joy and love.

Denise spent the day with us, well not the whole day because that would be ridiculous, but the time of our session capturing some of our favorite photos of ourselves ever. Communication between us was seamless and our meeting for planning the session definitely added to the value of the experience. At the shoot, she preached for us to act natural and do what felt right at the moment. What came out were pictures that we will share with family and friends for years. Neither of us considers ourselves very photogenic, but Denise worked some magic and figured out how to trick the camera into making us look even more in love than we are.
